On the sunny slopes of North Huila, where the landscape is rugged and lively, this distinctive coffee grows. It carries the name Jaguarundi, after the shy, indigenous wildcat known for its adaptability and elegant strength — a reflection of this coffee and its origin.
In the highlands of Aipe, at 1,700 to 1,800 metres elevation, the cherries are hand-picked the moment they reach optimal ripeness. They then dry in their whole fruit, giving the natural sugars and tropical aromas all the room they need to develop. The result is a coffee that carries the sun-drenched character of Huila: pure, lively and full of expression.
This natural lot tells the story of Aipe as a place where coffee landscape transforms into a source of biodiversity and craftsmanship, where tradition and innovation come together under the warm Huila sun. A coffee with character.
