V60 features
1. Conical shape: The V60's distinctive conical shape allows the coffee grounds to be thicker than on a flat surface and allows hot water to flow to the center, keeping it in contact with the grounds longer and ensuring proper and correct extraction.
2. Spiral shape: When the coffee is saturated, the high ridges do not impede expansion and create an air layer between the paper and the dripper wall, allowing the coffee to expand sufficiently, which promotes smooth extraction.
3. Single hole: The V60 has one large hole at the bottom, allowing the tip of the filter paper to protrude through the hole and the extraction to take place lower and thus not be restricted by the dripper.
The V60 dripper 02 can be used well in combination with the Hario server 02 and corresponding filter paper.
