Decaf Mexico Chiapas

Sweet, Milk Chocolate, and Orange

This organic decaf coffee comes from Chiapas, Mexico, and is decaffeinated using the Mountain Water process. It has a full body, a sweet, spicy flavour, and is also excellent for making milk coffees like cappuccinos.

The Mountain Water decaf process uses clear, pure water from the glaciers of Mexico's highest mountains. During the decaffeination process, the green coffee beans are immersed in this water to extract the caffeine. The water contains the soluble components of the coffee beans that retain the elements of the coffee's individual flavour, so that during the caffeine extraction, the beans retain their original flavour components.

Once the decaffeination process is complete, the beans are dried, packaged, and shipped to our roastery so we can roast them for optimal flavour. Decaffeinated coffee, with the flavour preserved. Thanks to the Mountain Water Process—a completely natural decaf process using pure mountain water from Pico de Orizaba—the coffee's flavour profile is perfectly preserved. No chemicals, no compromise.

Flavour profile: Mild, nutty, and smooth. Think milk chocolate, soft spices, and a hint of orange. Ideal for those who want a caffeine-free drink without compromising on quality.
